Beachside Bliss

There is nothing that screams "summer" to me more than the wonderful serenity of the beach. Something about the feeling of hot sand beneath your toes and the heat of the sun kissing your face is simply irreplaceable. My family and I had decided to take a bit of a road trip to one of our favourite and frequently-visited places- Grand Bend, Ontario, which is located about an hour or so from London.  As you can see by the pictures, it is truly a gem for its beautiful sunsets.

Whether it be from the car or the beach, every sunset (no matter from what angle) is so breath-taking. That's the beauty of sunsets, I suppose, that no sunset is ever the same.
About 20 minutes of a drive or so from Grand Bend was a lovely little town called Bayfield. There,
we had stopped by a park that was right alongside the water  (and equipped for the sunset with several benches, if you had a romantic, sunset-watching evening in mind). Naturally we stopped to take some pictures with the lovely view and ended the day with our last sunset of Grand Bend as a way of good-bye until next time!

Hello, Internet!

Hey! My name is Veronika and I am so excited to be joining the blogger world! I've always had a passion for writing and being an active viewer in the Youtube and blogging community, I have finally decided to give it a shot of my own!
I can start off with some things about me: I am an identical twin (as you can tell by my username) and my biggest inspiration to put our twindom out there in the world has to be Mary Kate and Ashley. As a kid I watched all of their movies and when my sister and I were little we used to pretend to be them: I was Mary-Kate because I liked blue and Izzy was Ashley. We are both musicians pretty much since birth; we both started playing the piano classically at the age of 5 and singing/music in general has always been a part of our lives ever since I can remember. We have a Youtube channel called It Takes Two, where I played the piano accompaniment to our latest cover/mash-up that you can go check out here : https://t.co/oAvEanBUww

I'm also a  bit of a fashion-nerd, which I think runs a bit in the family- my grandmother in my opinion always reminded me of Marilyn Monroe; her hair, sense of fashion, HUGE appetite for shoes and purses.... and so I would say it's safe to assume that I definitely get that after her. I'm also a travel-fanatic; every other year, my family goes to Europe, starting off with Poland (which by the way is my other nationality. I was born in Canada, however.) and we always end up exploring some new country along the way. To name a few of my travel adventures, I've been to Portugal, Italy, Austria, Sweden, France, Czechoslovakia, United Kingdom (just London unfortunately) California (the whole West Coast) all the maritimes of Canada and just last year we did a huge 6-week road trip to the Southern states of the U.S. There's still so many continents that I have yet (and am DYING) to explore like Asia, Africa, and Australia so I look forward to documenting those travels.

I'm so excited to join the blogging world and I hope you enjoy my crazy, twin-cepted life!

Veronika

P.S. Feel free to say hello in the comments!
